The IFAJ annual congress 2026 in Croatia is organised by the Croatian Agricultural Journalists’ Association, the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists, and Arena Studio, a professional congress organiser.
What will we visit during the congress in Croatia?
Small and large-scale producers. Continental and coastal Croatia. Crop, vegetable and fruit growers. Meat and dairy producers. Fish farms. You will witness new approaches to fruit growing. We will show you how viticulture is woven into the culture and tradition of Croatians, and of course, we will taste wines from indigenous varieties. We will visit the region’s historical landmarks and attend the season’s cultural events. You will see new, modern processing facilities and major investments alongside traditional methods for preparing culinary delicacies. The program will cover both conventional and organic production. You will hear from the field of agricultural science and gain insight into current projects. You will meet our food producers and see firsthand how we manage our forest ecosystems. We will discuss the challenges of food production, as well as the unique qualities and results of the hard work of our dedicated farmers.
